KT Waterproof Sealant membrane is a one part, easy to apply, specially formulated polyurethane based, elastic, crack bridging membrane which is designed to be used as an intermediate layer within a coating system. It cures to form a highly elastic, seamless, waterproof coating with excellent crack bridging properties. Its performance is maintained even at low temperatures

AREAS OF APPLICATION

  • Suitable for all exposed areas.
  • Roof slabs, parapet, Ips, sound brick-bat coba.
  • Sunshades Cementious water proofing.
  • Suitable surface preparation and repairs.
  • RCC/asbestos/lime terraced roofs.
  • Can be used as exterior coating for PVC water tanks exposed to direct sunlight on roofs, balconies, etc. to keep the inside water temperature relatively cooler.
  • For further reinforcement use glass fiber mesh on joints, drainpipe, corners or on any cracks.

 

CHARACTERSTICS AND ADVANTAGES

  • Waterproofing protection up to 7 bars hydrostatic pressure.
  • Reinforced with glass fibres for superior abrasion resistance.
  • Reduces carbon dioxide and chloride in diffusion and thus protecting re-bars against corrosion.
  • High shine, sparkling white colour and thick coat results and high levels of heat reflectance. 
  • Algae and fungi resistant.
  • Cross linking polymer gives excellent weather resistance and enhances service life.
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete, brickwork, corrugated asbestos, asbestos cement sheet and metal decks.
  • Ultra violet rays and weather resistant.
  • Crack bridging due to elastomeric.
  • No Protective screed required for normal Foot Traffic.
